Kurt’s eyes never strayed from Blaine’s face, not wanting to miss too much. And Blaine’s admission of missing him made his eyes water a little. They had had so many problems when both of them were here, never mind when one of them almost 600 miles apart. And then Blaine was running his hand through his hair and Kurt was turning into it, a small smile playing on face again (still sad but at least the tearing up part stopped). And what Blaine was saying made Kurt lean forward, pressing kisses into his lips, interupting Blaine when he tried to apologize for rambling.
“I like your rambling,” Kurt said,” they’re always informative. Much more intelligent than the usual jock in the jock relationship.”
Kurt reached over and dragged Stark to him, turning on to his back, holding the puppy over his head, looking intently at him. The pup blinked for a moment, looking sleepy, but then squirmed, yipping a little (in a way that Kurt couldn’t tell if it was in pain or if it was in excitement), but was sending off phermones that just screamed ‘alpha (or at least, ‘more alpha than you’) rays’. Kurt set him slowly down on his chest, waiting for the jump that didn’t come even if he squirmed.
“Yeah,” Kurt said slowly, giving Stark a few pats on the head before depositing him back between Blaine and himself. Kurt turned back on to his side and leaned forward to give Blaine a kiss. “I don’t think I’ll mind Stark…much…but if he eats a kopic marker, I’m sending him to New York…or at least Quinn’s.”
“And…um….I’m going to give you my favorite bow tie, so you’ll remember me…and a cat.” Kurt said the last part teasingly, trying to look as innocent as he could without bursting out laughing, but the corner of his mouth kept twitching.
Blaine flushed as Kurt kissed him amidst his rambling, skimming his fingertips over his soft cheeks before dropping his hand to stroke at Stark. “I don’t like my rambling… Rambling is not cute…” Blaine muttered to himself, frowning as Kurt rolled onto his back and lifted Stark above him. Blaine propped himself up on his elbow, laughing softly as he watched the interaction between the two.
His lips pulled into a small smile again as Stark landed between them again and hopped at Blaine, his paws dragging over his chest. He fell forward, licking at Blaine’s face happily before he wriggled his butt along with his tail, and cuddling against his chest again. “So…” Blaine grinned, his eyes shining as he looked over Kurt’s face after pressing their lips together gently. “Is that a yes to keeping Stark…?” His voice was soft, but filled with excitement, excited at the thought that Kurt would have a part of him while he was away in New York.
“You’re favorite bowtie…” Blaine began, his eyebrow raising before his voice fell. “What? A cat? You must be joking.” Blaine’s voice was slightly scared, his eyes widening at the thought. He didn’t want to be rude, but Blaine was terrified of that thought. “I mean Kurt, I love you so much, but a cat. I don’t even like cats that much.” Then Blaine caught the twitching at the corners of Kurt’s lips, his expression turning into one of relief as he playfully glared at the other boy. “Oh, you,” Blaine murmured, leaning forward to kiss at the corners of his lips before pressing a soft, gentle kiss to Kurt’s pinks lips. “You crazy, love.”
